Dr. Shih-Wei Tsai is Professor and Director of the Institute of Environmental Health, College of Public Health at the National Taiwan University (NTU). He received a bachelor’s degree in Public Health and an M.S. from NTU and doctorate in Environmental Health Science from UCLA. Dr. Tsai’s research interests focus on the applications of solid-phase microextraction (SPME) to the fields of environmental and occupational health. He has received the Outstanding Research Award from the Taiwan Public Health Association (TPHA) in 2003. Dr. Tsai is a Board Member of the Taiwan Society for Indoor Environmental Quality (TSIEQ), a Board Member of TPHA, a Corresponding Member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Biological Monitoring Committee, a Corresponding Member of the AIHA Sampling and Laboratory Analysis Committee, and a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
