Research Outline      2018-03-15 14:41:34

I am an interdisciplinary researcher who is interested in Health Policy, Sociology, and Anthropology. Before joining the NTU, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health, China Medical University. I had a 3-year post-doctoral research experience in the Department of Anthropology, Sussex University, where I focused on innovative biotechnology (cord blood banking) in various social contexts, particularly in Asian countries. My work involved examining the interactive relationship between biotechnology, policy, and society.

In recent years, my research focuses on the qualitative inquiry of children's health, health policy implementation, and Science, Technology, and Society (STS).

My ongoing research project includes:

1. Cord blood banking, policy, and social issues

2. Children growing up in air pollution

3. Discourse analysis in HPV vaccination debates
